In addition, German is the most read language, behind English, on the internet. More than eight percent of internet sites are published in German. In comparison, 50 percent of internet sites are published in English.

In 2005, a study determined that around 55 Million EU citizens (12 Percent) are proficient in German, of which 6 million come from Germany.

In addition to standard German courses, we also offer special German courses in preparation for the Deutsch Zertifikat B1 or the Deutsch Zertifikat C1, which are the requirements for becoming a German citizen (Integration) or enrolling at German educational institutes such as universities.

Special Characteristics of the German Language

The German language has the unique ability to allow for extreme differences in grammar structure while maintaining the same meaning. The following three examples all have the same meaning: The man brought his wife flowers.

  • „Der Mann hat seiner Frau die Blumen mitgebracht.“
  • „Der Mann hat die Blumen seiner Frau mitgebracht.“
  • „Seiner Frau hat der Mann die Blumen mitgebracht.“

German Group Courses

Our German courses are comprised of three to maximum eight students to allow for more individual interaction. Together with the German student, your trainer will set agreed learning contents and targets to ensure noticeable and successful learning in a short time frame. >> Price and Dates

Evening Courses

Gain proficient German language skills in an enjoyable manner. Our evening courses run over a longer period of time (3, 6, or 9 months) and last for 2 lesson hours once or twice a week. The majority of German students enjoy spending evenings sitting with nice people after work and learning German in a relaxing atmosphere.

Intensive Courses

If you want to learn German in a short time frame, then our German Intensive courses are for you. We offer intensive German courses with 20, 30, or 40 lesson hours per week. These courses allow you to fully concentrate on your German course. In addition, the 30 hour intensive course is also approved for educational leave. >> Price and Dates

German One-to-One and Pairs Lessons

German one-to-one lessons allow our German teachers to fulfill the student’s individual knowledge wishes so that the student reaches his or her personal goals faster. Regarding the schedule, you are flexible and can individually arrange the number of hours, day, and time with your German teacher – custom made to your wishes! Level Description
Elementary Present tenses, numbers, time, simple sentences, role-plays.

Beginner

Level 1

Perfect tenses, modal verbs, negation, more complex role-plays, basic conversation about every day topics.

Beginner

Level 2

Present/future/perfect tenses, irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, modal verbs, basic conversation about everyday topics.

Intermediate Level 1

Present/future/perfect tenses, conditional sentences, adjectives, pronouns, cases, speaking about every day topics with little or no mistakes, expressing opinions and attitudes.

Intermediate Level 2

Imperfect, Plus-perfect, imperative forms, indirect speech, differentiated grammar comprehension. Discussions about political, economic and social topics.

Intermediate Level 3

Differentiated grammar comprehension, substantial knowledge of idioms, complex discussion (press news).
Advanced Improving and maintaining a high level of language proficiency, language comprehension at an advanced level.
